Terms of Use and Subscription

Last updated: October 6, 2026

This is a translation of the French terms, which prevail in case of any difference.

Who provides the app

The Malvea app is published by Romain Anezo, whose legal status, SIREN number and address are given on the legal notice page (in French). For any question: contact@malvea.app.

What the app does

Malvea is a 90-day challenge on lifestyle habits: a daily check-in, a pouch that fills up with every good day, one educational card a day with its source, then a maintenance mode and new challenges. It is a wellness program. It makes no diagnosis, interprets no lab results, makes no prediction and does not replace medical advice: it is not a medical device within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2017/745. The score shown is a habit score, which covers behaviors and nothing else.

The app asks for no account and no email address. Your answers and your history stay on your device; the details are in the privacy policy.

What is free, what requires a subscription

The download is free, as are the entry questionnaire and the reveal of your starting habit score. The challenge itself (the 90 days, the check-in, the cards, maintenance mode and new challenges) requires a subscription.

The two plans

  • Annual: €49.99 per year including VAT in France, with a fourteen-day free trial for an Apple Account that hasn't already used it. It gives access to the challenge, maintenance mode and new challenges for the whole year.
  • Monthly: €9.99 per month including VAT in France, with no free trial, charged as soon as you subscribe.

These are the App Store prices in France. Outside France, the price is the one the App Store shows in the app when you subscribe, in your currency, and that price is the one that applies.

Subscribing and payment

You subscribe in the app and pay through your Apple Account: Apple collects the payment, under the Apple Media Services terms. We never see your payment details. The app's button says what it does: “Start my free trial” when the trial applies, otherwise “Subscribe” followed by the amount and the period.

The annual plan's free trial

  • Day 1: full access, nothing is charged.
  • Day 12: if you allowed notifications, the app lets you know that the trial ends in two days. The app's Settings screen also shows the trial's end date at all times.
  • Day 14: the annual subscription starts and €49.99 including VAT is charged, unless you canceled at least twenty-four hours before the end of the trial.

Renewal

The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, for the same length and at the price then in effect, unless canceled at least twenty-four hours before it ends. The app's Settings screen always shows the plan, the next renewal date and a direct link to cancel.

Canceling

You cancel in your Apple Account settings (iPhone Settings, your name, Subscriptions), or from the app: Settings, then “Manage or cancel subscription”, which takes you straight there. It is free and takes effect at the end of the current period: access stays open until then, and the app's Settings then show “Access until” followed by the date.

When the subscription ends, the challenge closes behind the subscription screen. Nothing is erased: your challenge and your history stay on your device, and you get them back if you subscribe again.

Refunds and withdrawal

Apple collects the payment: refunds and the right of withdrawal are therefore requested from Apple, under its terms, at reportaproblem.apple.com. A refunded subscription ends immediately, and the challenge closes as described above.

Restoring your purchases

On a new iPhone or after reinstalling, the “Restore Purchases” button, on the subscription screen and in Settings, finds an ongoing subscription on your Apple Account. It does not transfer the challenge history, which never leaves the device where it was created; the data export, in Settings, gives you a copy.

Disputes

These terms are governed by French law. If something goes wrong, write to us first at contact@malvea.app. Failing agreement, you can refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator: [to be completed].
